Panasonic released six new standard definition camcorders last year. All Panasonic camcorders offer versatile features that are a hit with many users worldwide.
The SDR-H60, SDR-H40, VDR-D50, and PV-GS90 have optical image stabilization and offer users a variety of SD formats to choose from. The way the camcorder line has been expanded shows that the company is able to understand different user preferences relating to video formatting and video recording.
Sony released sixteen high definition models in the year 2008. The hard drive and DVD models record video using the AVCHD video format. The Sony camcorders use Sony’s new face detection technology, and have Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound. The Sony HDR UX20 high definition DVD camcorder model has a 4-mega pixel built-in camera and can record video onto a DVD or a removable Memory Stick, which makes it very useful during travel purposes.
